Classification of inverters based on wave type (Pure Sine wave)
29 Aug 2022

Power inverters can be mainly divided into pure sine wave inverters and modified sine wave inverters according to their waveforms. In fact, there is another type - square wave inverter, the earliest inverter, which is rarely seen now.

Pure sine wave inverter

The pure sine wave inverter outputs true sine wave alternating current without electromagnetic pollution, which is the same or even better than the power grid we use every day. Pure sine wave inverter, with high efficiency, stable sine wave output and high frequency technology, suitable for all kinds of loads harmless, not only can power any common electrical equipment (including telephones, heaters, etc.), but also can run Sensitive electronic equipment or appliances (such as microwave ovens, refrigerators, etc.)

To sum up, pure sine wave inverter provides high-quality alternating current and can drive any kind of load including resistive load and inductive load, while pure sine wave inverter has the highest conversion efficiency and lowest loss, but Technical requirements and cost are higher than modified sine wave inverters.
