1.1 Causes

2) The apparent or invisible damage to the battery shell caused by improper operation during transportation or installation is not eliminated in time.

3) The charging setting is unreasonable, which causes the battery pack to overcharge for a long time, resulting in plate growth and top crack of the shell, resulting in leakage.

1.2 Prevention

1) Strengthen the process control and testing of the manufacturing process to reduce the hidden danger of leakage caused by product manufacturing.

2) Handle gently during installation and transportation, carefully check the appearance for leakage during installation, and clean and replace the leaking battery in time.

3) Through the charge management of the BMS system, greatly reduce the amount of overcharge and eliminate the leakage phenomenon caused by structural damage caused by plate growth.

4) Install insulation testing equipment to detect the insulation status of the battery in real time, find and eliminate leakage in time.

5) Regular manual inspection of leakage, ignition and other phenomena can also find battery leakage, but the cost is higher.
