1. What is a photovoltaic lithium battery?
It’s a lithium-ion battery system designed to store energy generated from solar (PV) panels. It allows you to use solar power even when the sun isn't shining, improving energy independence and reducing reliance on the grid.
2. Is it safe for indoor installation?
Absolutely. LiFePO₄ batteries are among the safest lithium battery chemistries. The system includes a built-in Battery Management System (BMS) for protection against overcharge, over-discharge, overheating, and short circuits. Additionally, it features an independent physical aerosol fire extinguisher for enhanced fire safety.
3. Is the system scalable?
Yes. Multiple battery units can be connected in parallel to expand energy storage capacity.
4. What maintenance is required?
Minimal. The system is mostly maintenance-free, with the BMS handling internal safety. Just ensure proper ventilation and keep the system clean and dry.
5. Can this battery work during power outages?
Yes, when paired with a hybrid inverter or off-grid inverter, the system can provide seamless backup power during grid failures.
6. How long does it take to charge fully?
This depends on the charging power. The battery supports a maximum of 150A charging and can be fully charged in 2-3 hours at full power.
7. What certifications does the system have?
Our systems comply with major standards such as CE, UN38.3 and IEC62619, depending on the model and destination market.
