Background
As data center loads continue to increase, aging telecom base station power systems may no longer provide sufficient capacity, monitoring capability and maintenance flexibility to support today's more demanding DC loads.
To address these limitations, EverExceed developed a new Telecom Power Solution for modern DC power requirements, upgrading the existing -48VDC power architecture to support higher loads with improved monitoring and maintainability.
Solution Overview
At the core of the solution is a customized -48VDC 1200A DC Power System, supporting up to 64kW of DC power.
The system integrates rectification, DC distribution, battery protection and intelligent monitoring into a unified cabinet. Its modular architecture provides flexible configuration and convenient maintenance while enabling centralized management of key operating conditions.
Core Functions
Hot-swappable rectifier modules allow individual modules to be replaced online without interrupting DC output, simplifying maintenance and future capacity adjustments.
The system provides ±1% voltage regulation accuracy with ultra-low ripple and noise for sensitive DC loads.
- Intelligent Monitoring and Communication
The built-in monitoring system provides visibility into DC output, rectifier modules, battery status and cabinet temperature.
RS485 and SNMP interfaces support integration with remote monitoring platforms for centralized operation and maintenance.
- Integrated DC Distribution
Rectification and DC distribution are integrated within the same cabinet, simplifying system configuration and reducing equipment complexity.
The system includes a 630A battery fuse, 400A and 250A load branches, and BLVD for battery and load protection.
- Comprehensive Protection and Thermal Design
AC/DC surge protection, over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit protection provide multiple layers of electrical protection.
Optimized airflow and industrial-grade wide-temperature components support operation from -10°C to +55°C.
