EverExceed Modular Max Range advanced AGM absorbed electrolyte technology coupled with thick positive plates and a welded / epoxy, dual post seal ensures reliable performance, safety, outstanding battery life and value. Batteries have a design life of 20 years and comply with BS 6290 Part 4, DIN 43534, EUROBAT (IEC 896-2) standards and is a recognized component of UL1989 under the Standby Battery Category. EverExceed batteries are also designed to comply with the latest specifications of the Power and Telecommunications Industry.
Construction
• Positive plate - Thick 0.245" lead-calcium-tin grids minimize corrosion
and prolong life.
. Negative plate - Balanced lead-calcium grids optimize recombination efficiency.
. AGM separator - Mechanically strong, low electrical resistance, microporous glass fiber which completely absorbs the electrolyte into its structure.
. Container/Cover - Flame retardant ABS standard. (UL94
V-0/L.O.I. 28%)
. Thermally welded case-to-cover bond to eliminate leakage.
. Containers are single-piece construction.
. Electrolyte - Diluted sulfuric acid.
. Terminal post - Lead casting terminal. Threaded copper insert, with
large surface area, to provide maximum conductivity.
. Terminal seal - Ring burn with secondary epoxy resin seal is 100%
water bath tested in the factory and proven in service.
. Relief valve - Operates at 2-3 psi and is complete with integral flame arrestor.
. Longer service life (20 year life expectancy in float service at 25°C
(77°F) ambient temperature) by using a grid with a higher corrosion
resistance which is made of our newly developed lead-calcium-tin alloy.
. Modular Max Range battery range is in line with the EUROBAT Specifications for "High Integrity" requiring a 10+ year life in floating charge conditions.
. Adding water or taking specific gravity measurements are not required. There is also no need for an equalization charge. The above
advantages cut down expenses for maintenance.
. The container and cover are made of flame retardant plastics which
meet UL-94V-0 specifications. The oxygen index level is higher
than 28.
. Modular Max Range battery is manufactured in accordance with JIS C
8707 and qualified by the Battery Equipment Approval Committee of
Japan for use in fire alarm, security systems and emergency lighting systems (Approval No. 97C-248).
. Modular Max Range meets the the requirements of NQAS specified
by NTT (Approval No. NQAS 95-1007).
